We establish the company
exe is founded with the goal of providing software and DTP services. We were formed as a partnership of Slovak entrepreneurs.
We become a partner of Microsoft
We become one of the first official partners of Microsoft Corporation in former Czechoslovakia.
Localization of CorelDRAW 3.0
Czech localisation of CorelDRAW 3.0. Proof of the quality of our work can be seen, for example, in how the product sold successfully as far back as 1998.
Microsoft Software Support Partner
We are awarded the status of Microsoft Software Support Partner and operate the service Microsoft Hotline for users of Microsoft products in Slovakia.
We establish the Business Software Alliance CS
We receive the certificates Microsoft Qualified Dealer and Microsoft Solution Provider. We become a founding member of Business Software Alliance CS and set up a branch in the Czech Republic.
Large Account Reseller (LAR)
We receive the title of Large Account Reseller of Microsoft and are authorized to sell Microsoft Select licenses. We are the first in Central and Eastern Europe to acquire the distribution contract with Bitstream Inc.
We establish a subsidiary
We form a subsidiary of exe IT aimed at the development of information systems and a new section aimed at software localization and translation services.
Pioneers in Slovakia
We become the first in Slovakia to gain the status of Direct Large Account Reseller for the company Microsoft and are authorized for the direct purchase and sale of Select licences from Microsoft EOC in Dublin, Ireland.
We translate the first OS into Slovak
We translate OS MS Windows 98 with Microsoft. We win the tender for Data Coding Center and establish the branch exeDC, which prepares and codes reports for Dow Jones Reuters Business Interactive.
Localization of the program Microsoft Office 2000
We provide the Microsoft Y2K Hotline in Slovakia. We produce the CD Microsoft Millenium Service Pack II Slovak and CD Microsoft Office 2000 Plus! We are a Hewlett-Packard Value Added Reseller.
Building up strong partnerships
We gain the titles Compaq Solution Partner, Microsoft Certified Solution Provider Partner and Symantec Business Partner.
Opening of our Melbourne branch
We open the branch exe AC in the city of Melbourne, Australia and also cooperate on localization of Microsoft Office XP into Slovak.
We are a Microsoft certified partner
We gain the title of Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Partner and based on many years experience with product sales, we open the MSDN Information Centre for the Slovak Republic together with Microsoft.
We start working with the largest bank in Slovakia
We migrate 5,500 workstations and servers to Windows 2000 at 37 branches and 140 workplaces of the largest bank in Slovakia.
Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller
We receive the status of Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller, letting us sell academic versions of Microsoft products to schools and non-profit organizations.
Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
We gain the certificate Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and ISO 9001:2000 from the international company BVQI. We open the Thomson Authorized Prometric Testing Center.
We translate Windows Vista
We outsource the IT department for one of Slovakia’s largest companies. We administer more than 2,000 computers. Together with Microsoft we work on localization of OS Windows Vista and Office 2007.
Moving forward
We change the organizational structure and acquire distribution rights for SDL products, which are standard in the translation sector. We migrate the IT infrastructure of two Slovak banks.
Certification EN15038
exe, s. r. o. becomes the first Slovak company to receive the certificate EN 15038 from Austrian Standards Institute. We implement the document management system (DMS) in one of the largest companies in Slovakia.
Development of exeCUTE solution
The company develops its own process management solution - exeCUTE. We display our openness, flexibility and intuition supported by easy and swift implementation with low operating costs.
Leader in raising productivity
At the MS Industry Awards 2010 the company exe, s. r. o. receives the award for best solution to boost customer productivity.
Translation of Apple products
The company exe, s. r. o. registers record profits. Work on translations and localization of Apple products and almost all products of Microsoft.
Member of the program Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider
The company exe, s. r. o. is a finalist at the MS Industry Awards 2015 in two categories Best Cloud Office 365 Solution for Business (for Dong Jin Precision Slovakia, s. r. o.) and Best Application Solution for the Commercial Sector (Unicredit Leasing Slovakia).
We become part of the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program
Inclusion to the CSP program proves Microsoft’s acknowledgement of the company exe, a. s. as an expert in the provision of IT services and lets us offer monthly billing of cloud services, technical support and price guarantee for twelve months.
We are a platinum partner of ESET
Exe becomes a Platinum Partner of the company ESET and enters into strategic partnerships with Binary Tree and Safetica. The company Binary Tree issupplier of software for migrating from Lotus Notes to Office 365, the absolute leader in its field. The company Safetica offers solutions for protecting key company data.
We receive an award for use of Power BI
Exe receives the award for successful implementation of the project “Use of Power BI to analyze productivity of freight wagons of railway company ŽS Cargo Slovakia“.
We are Microsoft Country Partner of the Year 2019
Exe receives the prestigious award Microsoft Country Partner of the Year 2019, which it collected in Las Vegas in June 2019. Awards were given in several categories and the winners were selected from some 2,900 entries from 115 countries across the globe. We won the award thanks also to the innovative project for the company ZSE Energia, a. s., where we developed an integrated dynamic solution in support of electromobility in Slovakia.
Exe did something for the future of IT in Slovakia. In this year we joined also with the organization “Aj ty v IT” and so took part in international “Girls’ Day 2019”.
We receive the title of Microsoft Awards 2019 Finalist
We were a finalist in the Microsoft Awards 2019, which evaluates the best and most innovative applications of digital transformation at customers, carried out by Microsoft partners in the Czech and Slovak republics. We were selected as part of the manufacturing industry for the project Adoption Campaign to implement MS Office 365 in the company Slovnaft.
