Exe was founded in 1990 and it has focused on information technology (IT) and software services. Right from the start it has provided services in the area of software translation and localization (particularly on projects larger than 1 million words).
The first large project (localization of Corel DRAW 3.0) was completed in 1992. At this time, the localization and translation department was founded. It has earned exe top spots in the Slovak localization industry. Exe's customers include companies and organizations such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Honda, Dow Jones Reuters Business Interactive (Factiva), the European Union, top international translation agencies, state administrative institutions and many others.
Exe originally concentrated only on translation into Slovak, but currently it provides equally high quality translations into most languages of central and eastern Europe. Localization services are supplemented by translation, consulting, preparation of products for the international market (globalization and internationalization), and product testing.
Thanks to the support of our other departments and modern translation technologies and procedures, exe is able to offer top quality translation and localization services to corporate and governmental clients in the areas of IT, technology, business, finance, law and more.
We are aware of the increasingly growing need for specialization in translation and localization services. We are also aware of the lack of reliable providers of these services. Therefore, we apply a policy of prompt adaptation to new market developments.
Exe has a certified quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) and is an EN 15038 certified provider of translation services.
