In 2010, exe reaches an important milestone – 20th anniversary of its founding.
The story of exe began in the year 1990. In that time, a group of young enthusiasts seeing potential in the area of IT, took a chance and jumped right in. Time has proven that their vision of an IT company was a success. Today, exe operates on two continents, in Europe and in Australia. It employs more than 100 employees and a large number of external collaborators.

exe plans to organize for its clients and employees a series of events, on which it wants to introduce them to the milestones of the company.
exe would like to thank everyone, who helped in making the vision from 20 years ago a reality and invites all of them to join the celebrations.

1990 – exe is founded. It plans to provide software and DTP services.
1991 – exe becomes one of the first official Microsoft Corporation partners in Czechoslovakia.
1992 – exe localizes CorelDRAW 3.0 into Czech. The fact that this product is still being sold in 1998 serves as a proof of excellent quality of our work.
1993 – exe gains Microsoft Software Support Partner status and operates Microsoft Hotline service for Microsoft users in Slovakia for the next 14 years. This service is regularly rated as one of the best in Europe.
1994 – exe establishes a branch Office in Czech Republic – exe Praha s.r.o. exe becomes the authorized Hewlett-Packard product vendor.
1998 – exe wins the international Data Coding Center tender. It creates exe DC subsidiary, which processes and codes Central Europe news for Dow Jones Reuters Business Interactive (Factiva).
2001 – exe founds exe AC subsidiary in Melbourne, Australia. Additionally, it becomes a collaborator in localizing Microsoft Office XP into Slovak.
2002 – Based on its extensive experience with selling products for developers, exe opens, in collaboration with Microsoft, a MSDN Information centre for the Slovak republic.
2003 – exe migrates 5,500 workstations and servers in 37 subsidiary offices and 140 affiliated branches of the largest bank in Slovakia to Windows 2000.
2006 – exe outsources the IT department of one of the largest companies in Slovakia and manages more than 2,000 computers.
2007 – exe radically changes its structure and gains new momentum for its future projects. It gains exclusive distribution rights for SDL products, such as Trados or Trados Synergy, which represent a standard in the translation industry. Additionally, exe manages full migration of IT infrastructures for two Slovak banks.
2008 – As the first company in Slovakia, exe receives EN 15038 certificate from Austrian Standards Institute. Our Support and Outsourcing Division grows dramatically. It provides a 24/7 service to all of Slovakia and it is responsible for IT infrastructure management for many companies and banks.
2009 – exe gains Advanced Infrastructure Solutions competency with Windows Desktop Deployment Specialisation. This specialisation serves as a formal confirmation of the abilities and experiences with MS Windows and MS Office implementation.
exe develops its own exeCUTE solution. exeCUTE is an elegant solution for process management. It also provides openness, flexibility and intuitiveness, together with simple and fast implementation and low operating costs. It is an ideal process management solution for any commercial company or state and public administration institution.
2010 – In the Microsoft Industry Awards 2010 competition of the most creative customer solutions, exe receives an award for the best solution (an elegant IT solution for creating and approval of business contracts) that helps to increase productivity for its customer – SLOVNAFT, a.s .
