Network security

We take data network security to be a comprehensive solution which serves not only to protect network access points (internet connection) using firewalls and IDS systems, but also to protect the other equipment, be it against direct acquisition of control or against infiltration by malware and trojan horses.

Network security can be divided into:
• Edge Security – company network perimeter security with the help of firewalls, VPN access points and intrusion detection systems. Implementation of network quarantine, with the ability to "cure" the data even before allowing it access to the network.
• Endpoint Security – protection of end stations (workstations, portable computers, PDAs, etc.) using personal firewalls and protection solutions against spyware and malware.
• Antivirus Security – antivirus solutions are a part of both areas shown above, but since their importance to network security is so fundamental, they are often devised as a separate project and subsequently interconnected.

A corporate network is a living system that is constantly changing, so its security must be updated at regular intervals. Last but not at least, network security includes ongoing, thorough monitoring, which enables us to stop any intrusion at the outset.
