exe Scores in Microsoft Industry Awards 2010 Competition!

Microsoft Slovakia has presented its awards in the Microsoft Industry Awards 2010 competition. In the fourth year of the competition for the most creative customer solution, exe received an award for a solution that helps to increase productivity for customers – the Elegant IT solution for creating and approval of business contracts – SLOVNAFT, a.s.
 
The goal of the winning solution was the electronization of the creation and approval of business contracts process for SLOVNAFT, a.s. Once implemented, the paper document circulation disappears, as does its physical endorsement. Contract data will automatically be transferred to all other information systems. This will make the process faster, more transparent and more efficient.
 
Juraj Saktor, executive director at exe, said: "Modern IT is no longer only about fixed operation costs. It is a part of business itself. If companies want to improve their competitiveness, they cannot leave IT out of their strategic decision-making."
 
The awards are awarded annually for solutions and applications created on a Microsoft platform or customer solutions that utilize innovative technologies. The main criterion is the benefit for the customer and the scope of the project that uses innovative Microsoft technologies. The ceremony took place at the Carlton Hotel and the awards were presented by Peter Čerešník, managing director of Microsoft Slovakia.
